Our 600-hour Nail Technician License Program combines theory, demonstrations, hands-on training, and supervised student-clinic experience to prepare students for the Texas licensing examinations and entry-level employment in the professional nail industry.

Students develop technical skills while learning the professionalism, sanitation standards, client-care practices, and business knowledge needed to work confidently in a salon, nail studio, or independent business.

A $250 non-refundable enrollment fee is required to secure your place in the program. The enrollment fee is applied according to the terms of the student enrollment agreement.

Students receive instruction on the rules and laws that govern licensed nail professionals and cosmetology establishments in Texas. Training emphasizes professional responsibilities, proper licensing practices, client protection, recordkeeping, workplace conduct, and compliance with applicable state requirements.

Students are expected to follow all academy policies, attendance requirements, dress-code standards, clinic procedures, safety rules, and professional conduct expectations throughout the program.

Students learn how to identify common signs of nail and skin diseases, disorders, infections, and other conditions that may prevent a service from being performed safely.

Training includes:

• Recognizing visible signs of infection or contagious conditions
• Understanding when a service should be refused or discontinued
• Avoiding diagnosis or treatment outside the nail technician’s scope of practice
• Referring clients to an appropriate medical professional when necessary

We have Day, Evening, & Online Course Available. We start the eyelash extension training with a comprehensive theory series with extensive handouts to accompany the information. 

During theory, we cover Sanitation, Rules & Regulations, Client Consultation, Pre and Post Care, Contraindications, Glue Ingredients, Eyelash Curls, Eyelash Lengths, Eyelash Widths, and the Eyelash Extension Application Process itself.

Once all questions are answered from all students, the class moves forward with the hands-on practice. Students will begin their hands-on practice working on a mannequin head to help build their hand/eye coordination and technique. Every day For Lab.

The 320 Eyelash specialty License is a combination of theory and hands on curriculum that introduces the technique of creating longer, thicker and curlier eyelashes that the Lash technician will adhere to the client’s natural eyelashes.

This non-invasive procedure uses a variation of techniques that are customized to fit and tailor your clients’ wants and needs. We will discuss and provide how Eyelash Extensions can be used alone or in conjunction with other aesthetic procedures. It is also recommended as an alternative to strip lashes or eyelash tabbing which is an older and more temporary method of lash extensions. 

This class covers product knowledge, basic application technique, safety, and aftercare. Students will have the opportunity to practice applying for extensions on a live model under the supervision of the Licensed Instructor.

• even though we want you to still have a high school diploma/Ged, TDLR just lifted the requirement to have a high school diploma or Ged to enroll in school
• Be at least 17 years of age.
• Complete a successful Entrance Interview with the Recruiting Department.
• This program is approved by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
• Each student will receive a Viva De Beauty lash kit that is stocked to start taking clients and making money.
• Once the student has completed the mannequin, required they will then start on their live models. Students will work on their model for 2-3 hours daily. The instructor will grade out the eyelash extension artist giving helpful pointers on increasing speed and the after care of clients. During the Students 320 course they will also prepare for their state exams with mock demos of state boards written and practice. The students are given a Diploma upon completion at the Graduation and sent to testing center to Take their state exams to receive their license.

You love the art of eyelash extensions and making your clients feel their most beautiful. But in addition to the fun aspects of eyelash extensions, you also have to keep track of some not-so-fun practical and legal details and Eyelash Laws per State. 

Eye Lash Growth cycles 

Every hair on your body follows a specific growth cycle and will grow to a specific length. Hair follows a three-phase growth cycle and eventually falls out which is typically nothing to worry about. In fact, body hair, including eyelashes, completely replaces itself every few years. 

Adverse reactions

Safety and Sanitation 

We sanitize in order to make a surface, our hands, a tool, etcetera, clean and safe for use. Sanitation is an absolute necessity. When we sanitize, we kill the single-cell microorganisms we call bacteria. There are trillions of bacteria, and not all are bad. Non-pathogenic bacteria are harmless and beneficial, but pathogenic bacteria are harmful and can cause infection. For this reason, a clean working environment is imperative. 

Professional Image 

Your professional image is your portfolio. This is the package you present that will influence whether or not people in this industry (both professionals and clients) will take you seriously enough to see what you actually have to offer. 

Lash Application Eyelash Extensions

Eyelash extensions are synthetic lashes applied directly to your natural eyelash using an adhesive. These aren't the same as synthetic eyelash strips sold at mass retailers. Extensions come in little bundles of eight or nine individual lashes, and each bundle is glued directly onto your natural lash. The application procedure takes at least an hour when done by a professional and can take up to three hours for less experienced people. The extensions should last around anywhere from two to eight weeks and will fall out as your natural lashes fall out. 

First Aid Sometimes clients come to the appointment with eyelash extensions done by another technician. But the lashes may be hurting and twisting resulting in uncomfortable lash lines for the client. As well eyelash extensions may be too long or too thick for the client’s natural lashes which can show up in short term or long tern damage for the natural lashes.
